What Drives Us
A RIBA Chartered Practice based in London and South Oxfordshire, our studio is made up of ARB-registered and RIBA Chartered architects and designers alongside Part I and Part II professionals, with a track record in delivering complex projects across the UK and internationally in the residential, civic, government, corporate, ecclesiastical, infrastructure and hospitality sectors. This includes leading multidisciplinary teams, varied planning approvals, development-led strategic sites, Grade I, II* and II listed buildings and Green / Grey Belt sites.
At the heart of the practice is an unwavering dedication to exceptional service, through a relentless work ethic, open-minded strategic thinking and intelligent design - keeping our clients' goals in mind at every stage. We view good design as an iterative process which is grounded in context and investment value: a considered balance of creativity, technical expertise and strategic foresight. We stay in lockstep with our clients and our knowledge extends far beyond architecture and touches on multiple sectors – this means we can spot opportunities other firms often do not see - and find routes through to delivery with this approach.
Practice structure
The practice is led by Managing Director Joshua Harrison. Design is co-led from the senior team - Michael who forms the core of the day-to-day running of the architectural jobs alongside the director and Anderson, educated at the University of Texas at Austin, the Architectural Association and MIT, who focuses on conceptual execution and reviews across all stages. Projects generally run through the key RIBA stages 0–6 but often just for the first or latter stages depending on the brief. We are supported by Part 2 & Part I architectural assistants, a BIM assistant and boast a formidable network of relationships with engineers, surveyors and RTPI planning consultants.
Importantly, Joshua brings together architectural thinking, strategic planning and commercial viability to unlock our clients' sites. This approach has resulted in significant economic value being added to sites where others looked in a different direction, or simply failed at the last hurdle.
Michael has worked closely with Joshua for over five years. They are highly familiar with one another's working methods and understand how to play to their respective strengths to develop strong, well-resolved solutions together.
His previous experience also includes working with other established architectural practices across the country, bringing a broad base of technical and design experience to the studio.
Anderson's portfolio includes leading the £30M conversion of a Grade II* listed ecclesiastical building into a 5-star hotel in central London. Alongside his architectural work, he has taught at the University of Oxford’s Ruskin School, the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins, and the Architectural Association, where he now teaches observational hand drawing. At the practice, Anderson co-leads conceptual direction alongside the director and monitors key schemes. As of Q2 2026 he splits his time between the United States and the United Kingdom.
Since joining he has become adept at producing technical details, working across a suite of software to bring together several disciplines and is confident meeting and liaising with consultants and clients alike.
Clara joined us in Henley-on-Thames from Paris where she is studying BIM, architecture and working with a firm producing BIM compliant solutions in the medical environment - generally large hospital infrastructure. Notwithstanding her relatively brief industry experience, she has brought BIM convention capabilities and discipline, an eye for detail and a fantastic work ethic to the firm and the schemes she is assisting with.
Daniel is working with us for a year out prior to continuing his architecture studies at the University of Kent. He has worked with the studio intermittently over the past 2 years and is with us full time for 2026 - a placement we offered to him due to his exceptional work ethic and curiosity. We are training him to use Revit and the respective BIM software and teaching him about various aspects of the profession including how we design buildings and the methodologies we use.
Hannah assists the Director with day-to-day administration and helps coordinate the consultants who support the practice, such as our accountants, suppliers and the many other organisations essential to the proper running of a company.

Selected experience
We have an impressive track record in achieving planning permission in scenarios others often struggle in: Green Belt, Conservation Areas and listed properties. However, our experience is far more comprehensive and extends to complex multidisciplinary work involving multi-sector work, clients and construction technology.
We use the latest software and incorporate BIM throughout a project's lifecycle including interdisciplinary modelling. We demonstrate this on projects located across the UK including in the heart of prime London.
